題目 : 高速側緣 - 時速110公里後的留白體驗 / After 100Km/hr

高速公路,一個我們最為熟悉但卻忽略的公共空間,它與其之上的各個機能性塑造了一個獨立的世界。不管對於駕駛人或是周遭的環境,在車速110km/hr的情況之下,即構成了一種壓力。在這個系統之中,我們所能感受到的事情很少,絕大部分事街上異質的空間與行為不會發生在這裡。在這個高速移動的盒子之內,我們以小小的窗口感受著外面的世界,等到我們疲倦時,可以在散布在各地的服務區歇息,但現今的服務區卻成為了一處過於商業化的地方,滿目陳列的商品、胡亂改建的空間、陳舊的量體與阻隔在地的邊界,服務區的本質是休息,一個使人們可以短暫放鬆片刻的場域,這裡希望探討是否可以找回服務區最原初的目的,可順應現代化背景之下的休息站。

National highway. A public space that we could feel familiar but Ignored. It became an independent world because of the rules and the properties. When we are driving with the speed of 110km/hr, The pressure of drivers and environment will accumulate gradually. In this system, we can feel less, all of the heterotopia and behaviors on the street are difficult to be emerge. When we are in this high-speed box, We can only feel outside with small windows. Except we stay in the service areas that scattered around the highway. But today's service area has become an over-commercial place. There are full of goods, alternations, old buildings and the closed edge. The essence of the service area is let people have a space to take a rest, a moment we can far away from the pressure and get free. I want to seek the essence of this place.
